Argyle Socks
One fashion accessory that is just as in style as ever and can be worn by men and women with almost anything is argyle socks. These timeless socks have been around for years and do not look to be leaving the market anytime soon.
They can come in many different styles and especially colors so they can match with many outfits. Many times the style of the individual is designed to make them stand out. Argyle socks are perfect for this as some creative ensembles can be made with the designs that are on them. This can not be said of normal white or one color socks which tend not to make any statement of style at all.
By adding a dash or color and class to an outfit regardless of the occasion, these socks are perfect for men. Generally argyle socks are worn under pants for showing a little bit of color. But they can also be worn with the most casual outfits as they look great with jeans or even a pair of shorts. A popular look nowadays is a nice pair of colorful argyle socks, color and style doesn’t matter, with brown or black shoes and a pair of khaki shorts. This adds color and a different style than the more common white socks that are plain and, in some cases, boring.
Another look which is in style at the moment is wearing athletic shoes, particularly white ones with argyle socks. This throws some flair and color into socks that are usually white. Of course argyle socks can also still be worn under different types of pants and look great with a pair of khakis or jeans. They can accessorize any outfit a man wants to wear. Even wearing a pair that matches the color of a tuxedo or a nice suit looks great and definitely adds a little style and color to the entire outfit.
They do not just go well with men’s outfits but there are many outfits that they look great on for women as well. A great look that is in style nowadays is wearing argyle socks, pulled up, with a short skirt or a mini skirt. Just like the styles for men the socks look great with jeans or some khakis to add some color to the outfit. A great women’s outfit that these socks go great with are a pair of Capri’s or knee length shorts.
Whether you are trying to find your own sense of style or you want to stand out in a crowd of white, argyle socks will do the trick. You can find them in almost every department store and you’ll probably find yourself unable to buy just one pair.
